San Francisco’s Architecture Review Committee is scheduled to review the proposed reuse of 2 Stockton Street in the city’s Union Square neighborhood. The project would partially demolish the existing building, reskinning the exterior and adding four new levels of office space. Strada Investment Group is responsible for the development.
Sales have launched for the newest residential addition to San Francisco’s Duboce Triangle neighborhood, 2238 Market Street. The recently-finished building offers 42 condominiums and two townhomes with prices ranging from $800,000 to $4 million. Prado Group and Vanke USA jointly developed the project.
New permit activity shows plans are moving ahead for the 47-story skyscraper at Transbay Block 4 in SoMa, San Francisco. Representatives for the property owner, Hines, have recently filed an amendment request to increase the lot’s height limit from 450 feet to 513 feet. The building would create hundreds of below-market-rate units, apartments, condos, and townhomes overlooking the proposed Transbay Park.
Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a mixed-use project proposed at 1008 S Street in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of a four-story mixed-use infill housing project offering residences and live-work units on the first floor. Plans call for the demolition of the existing structure on the site. Jackson Properties Inc is the property owner. Vrilakas Groen Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
Increased plans have been filed for The Hub, the mixed-use tower at 2128 Oxford Street in Downtown Berkeley, Alameda County. The application has nearly doubled in residential capacity while the height has been raised from 17 to 25 floors tall. On top, a rooftop bar and restaurant will offer commanding views of the surrounding region and, potentially, two more similarly-tall buildings. Core Spaces is the developer.
