Additional Units Approved for Noodle Factory Development in Oakland

Revised plans were approved for an eight-story mixed-use building at 419 4th Street in Oakland’s Jack London neighborhood. The original project was reported on by SF YIMBY in November of 2022 but has been undergoing planning and approvals since then. Project owner Smart Growth and Architects Lowney Arch submitted revised plans in late 2023 which have now been approved.

Notice of Determination Released for Mixed Use Project San Mateo

A new mixed use project in San Mateo took another step forward with the release of a CEQA notice of determination earlier this week. The project located at 435 East 3rd Avenue would construct at 39,893 square foot building brining both housing and office space to the area. Developers at MECHA Ventures are collaborating with architects ARC TEC on the project.

Meeting Scheduled for Amendment to Planned Development at Emeryville Marketplace

New Development at Emeryville’s Public Market has been in the works for some time, with the city approving a development agreement for the site in December of 2015. However, the exact plans for Parcels A and B, which abut the railway tracks to the north of the market hall, have been in flux. The meeting on Thursday May 22nd will review revisions to the current project proposal.
