Developers Pivot to Affordable Housing for 1197 Lick Avenue San Jose

The proposed development at 1197 Lick Avenue in San Jose is to be altered, reducing the overall number of units but increasing the number of affordable units available within the project. The project is located on a three-building site, and is part of the Tamien Station Transit-oriented Development Plan. Developers, The Core Cos. and Republic Urban Properties have worked with Studio T-Square architects to put forth the revised plan.

Preliminary Plans For Pacifica Quarry Residential Redevelopment, San Mateo County

Preliminary plans have been filed for Coastal Crest Residences, a potential residential redevelopment of the Pacifica Quarry Site by Rockaway Beach. The builder’s remedy-assisted application looks to create a new residential neighborhood of over a thousand affordable units pushed back from the San Mateo County coastline. The project is a joint venture led by Paul Heule’s Michigan-based company, Eenhoorn.

Meeting Scheduled for Modifications to Westport Development in Cupertino

Tonight, the Cupertino Planning Commission will review several staff recommendations, including items regarding a Development Permit and an Architectural and Site Approval permit for 21267 Stevens Creek Boulevard. The site, developed by Related California has already been approved for the Westport Development Project, but revised plans would increase the size of Building 1 from 138 units to 151 units. Architects Steinburg Hart have also submitted a new ground floor plan with space allocation for the building’s amenities and retail.
