The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for a mixed-use development at 425 Broadway, on the border of the Financial District and North Beach in San Francisco. The project would replace a large parking garage with 41 dwelling units, retail, and office space. San Jose-based Yeh’s Development is responsible for the project through Montgomery Place LLC.
Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new mixed-use project proposed at 201 El Camino Real in Menlo Park. The project proposal includes the construction of a three-story mixed-use building with two levels of on-site parking. Plans call for architectural control and environmental review for the demolition of an existing commercial building and multi-family residential building. EID Architects is managing the design concepts and construction.
Developers have filed the project plans for 802 South 1st Street, the six-story residential development in Martha Gardens, San Jose. As proposed, the development could add 246 new residential units to the city’s housing market, a short bus ride away from Downtown San Jose. Maracor Development is sponsoring the development.
New permits have been filed for an infill development at 729 Bush Street, located in the eastern edge of San Francisco’s Lower Nob Hill neighborhood. The project would replace the Nob Hill Theatre with housing and medical facilities. John Lum Architecture is responsible for the proposal, which includes preserving the theater facade and signage.
A recent site visit by SFYIMBY shows that construction work is almost finished for One Santana West, a new office building in West San Jose. The project will provide a new hub with a capacity for over a thousand employees in a burgeoning mixed-use district. Federal Realty Investment Trust is responsible for the development of Santana West, as well as the busy mixed-use Santana Row plan across the street.
