The Oakland Planning Commission has given public notice for developers to submit plans for 1911 Telegraph Avenue, Downtown Oakland. Previously called Uptown Parcel 4, the 1.04-acres of undeveloped land could see the construction of a new mixed-use apartment complex with hundreds of apartments. The noticing period will end on January 4th of 2022.
A new master plan has been initiated by the city for review at 1555 Plymouth Street in the North Bayshore Area in Mountain View. The Master Plan includes new development standards for the Gateway area located within the North Bayshore Precise Plan area, which will help implement the goals and objectives of the Precise Plan. The site is owned by multiple property owners.
A new mixed-use village with several hundred homes has been proposed at 681 East Trimble Road in San Jose. The project proposal includes the development of a large scale community offering residential and commercial spaces. The property at present consists of long-time orchard sites. Real estate firm The Hanover Co is the project developer. KTGY Architecture + Planning is responsible for the design concepts.
Holliday Development has filed a new building permit for the five-story residential development addressed 2121 Wood Street in West Oakland. The application comes after the developer filed for an extension in late-2020, and withdrew permits earlier this year. If built, the project will add 235 new apartments to the city.
The fifth tallest building in the Bay Area planned or built in the SFYIMBY January 2021 Countdown is the Transbay Parcel F at 550 Howard Street in SoMa, San Francisco. Proposed by a joint venture with Hines, Urban Pacific, and Goldman Sachs Asset Management, the mixed-use tower will rise 806 feet above street level. Construction is scheduled to start in the first quarter of next year.
