Developers have applied for the variance application required for demolition at 570 Market Street, in San Francisco’s Financial District. A two-story retail build on-site will be cleared for a 29-story infill hotel tower with 240 guest rooms. The request comes after a shadow study submitted in early May. The Frontier Group is the project developer.
Permits have been filed for a three-story mixed-use development at 375 Parker Avenue in Rodeo, Contra Costa County. Rodeo is a relatively small town of roughly 8,700 residents along Interstate 80. The proposed development would create 22 new units and ground-level retail at the intersection of Parker Avenue and Fourth Street.
A recent planning application has revealed new renderings for the community-oriented mixed-use building dubbed ‘The Village.’ The project is set to rise at 80 Julian Avenue in the Mission District of San Francisco. Friendship House Association of American Indians is listed as the property owner and developer. The project organizers describe 80 Julian as a ‘social services, cultural & spiritual center envisioned by an inter-tribal coalition of Native American organizations.’

The project proposal includes the construction of a residential structure with retail space. Plans call for the demolition of an existing 8,575 square-foot building and a single-story gas station and car wash. East Beach Capital is the project developer. Kava Massih Architects is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
