The project, located in San Francisco’s Mission District neighborhood, will modernize and improve the 1914-era structure’s functions and restore the original entrance and main staircase and increase its square footage. San Francisco Public Works is responsible for the design.
1554 Market Street has topped off in San Francisco’s Civic Center neighborhood, near its border with Hayes Valley. The residential tower will be adding 109 new apartments at a site just over three blocks from the Civic Center BART station. Handel Architects is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have been filed to make way for a seven-story senior housing development at 4200 Geary Boulevard in Richmond, San Francisco. The existing structure is a two-story funeral home. The Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development is helping to fund the project.

Renderings have been released for a new 26-story tower to rise at 17 East Santa Clara Street, San Jose. Eterna Tower will be located on the same block as the future Downtown San Jose Bart station, making it a future-looking project in a regional movement to build more close to mass transit. Roygbiv Real Estate Development is the developer responsible for the project.
