Permits Filed to Rehabilitate A Painted Lady from the Seven Sisters, Western Addition, San Francisco

A planning application has been filed for the rehabilitation of 714 Steiner Street, one of the iconic Seven Sisters along Alamo Square in the Western Addition neighborhood in San Francisco. The filing describes eight different alterations to make the two units habitable. While there is no proposed alteration to the front facade, there will be changes to the ground-level entrance, rooftop, and back. David Armour Architecture is responsible for the design, with historical consultation by Architecture + History LLC.

Plans for 921 98th Avenue Heads to Oakland Planning Commission This Week

Fleischmann Property LLC is sharing with the public that 921 98th Avenue in Elmhurst Park is heading to the Oakland Planning commission this Wednesday, December 16th. The meeting will discuss the residential project’s preliminary development plans and the Final Development plans (FDP) for the Master Street and Open Space Improvements. The FDP will cover new roads and open spaces that will be produced to benefit the many potential residents. Madison Park is the developer for the project.

Permits Filed for 2536 California Street, Pacific Heights, San Francisco

New planning permits have been filed for two four-story residential structures at 2536 California Street in Pacific Heights, San Francisco. The forty-foot proposal yields 8,057 square feet with four apartments and one unit of ground-floor retail. The project replaces an existing commercial building to add more housing to the high-end neighborhood. Redwood Properties is responsible for the development as the property owner.

2354 Calle Del Mundo Heads to Architecture Review, Tasman East, Santa Clara

Following a recent application, the city of Santa Clara will soon review plans for an eight-story residential building at 2354 Calle Del Mundo in Santa Clara’s Tasman East Specific Plan. If approved, the development will be one of six admitted in the 45-acre redevelopment with offices, housing, and nearby light rail master-planned by the City of Santa Clara. Five more projects are awaiting approval. Ensemble is responsible for developing this building.
