The official groundbreaking ceremony was held over a month ago, and foundation work is now underway. Once complete, the 15-story medical center will offer hundreds of new patient beds and care units.
Preliminary plans have been filed utilizing new state laws for the hillside property at 134-150 Porter Street and 113-115 Roscoe Street on the southern edge of Bernal Heights, San Francisco. The project will bring over two dozen rental apartments to the site between three structures, significantly more than initial plans for just seven homes. Schaub Li Architects is responsible for the application and design.
Renderings have been revealed for the eight-story residential proposal at 3705 Haven Avenue in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. The project uses the state density bonus to achieve over a hundred apartments, with a certain amount designated as affordable housing. March Capital Management is the project sponsor.
The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors has approved construction financing for Stone Pine Cove, a proposed manufactured homes development at 880 Stone Pine Road in Half Moon Bay. The county has secured $11.5 million, with completion expected by early 2025. Sacramento-based Capital Program Management is the project coordinator.
Berkeley City Council has rejected an appeal of 2115 Kittredge Street, the proposed 18-story apartment tower to rise above California Theater in Downtown Berkeley. The project requires partial demolition of the 1914-opened theater, retaining the facade and bringing a new live performance space below over two hundred new apartments. Gilbane Development is responsible for the project.
