The San Jose Planning Commission is scheduled to decide on an appeal later today of The Mark, a 23-story student-oriented project to be built at 475 South 4th Street in Downtown San Jose. The public teleconference meeting is scheduled to begin today, October 13th, at 6:30 PM. City staff has recommended the commission reject the appeal and approve the special use permits to commence construction. Southline Plans Published Ahead of November Meeting, South San Francisco, San Mateo County

The City of South San Francisco has published detailed plans for a 26-acre mixed-use proposal by Lane Partners to develop offices or life science buildings beside retail and public open space. The project would demolish the dozen low-slung industrial structures nearby a residential neighborhood, large shops, and the San Bruno BART Station, San Mateo County. DES Architects will be responsible for the design.

Renderings Published, Meeting Scheduled for 567 Airport Boulevard, Burlingame

Renderings have been published ahead of a scheduled Burlingame Planning Commission meeting for a proposed office building at 567 Airport Boulevard, doubling the office floor area of an existing campus overlooking Burlingame Lagoon in San Mateo County. This meeting comes after a recent change of ownership for Peninsula Innovation Point. Barings, a global investment manager, purchased the property from EverWest and Partners Group in late July 2021 for $170 million and plans to follow through with the redevelopment project.
