Proposed Housing for Iron Horse Village along Crow Canyon Road in San Ramon

Conceptual plans have been published for the 117-unit residential project at 3401 Crow Canyon Road in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. The proposal, dubbed the Iron Horse Village, would replace commercial buildings with low-density detached and attached housing. Nearon Enterprises, an investment company, based in Walnut Creek, is listed as the property owner. Lennar is the project developer.

YIMBY Visits Serif SF and LINE Hotel at 950 Market Street, San Francisco

Last week, YIMBY toured Serif SF to visit the newly opening Solarium rooftop deck on top of the newest apartment addition to San Francisco’s Mid-Market neighborhood. Sales have already started, with units selling at $560,000, while the LINE Hotel is preparing to open with 232 guest rooms this September. The project is the work of L37 Partners, with architecture by Handel.

Council Meeting Today May Put Oakland A’s Howard Terminal on November Ballot

The Oakland City Council will be meeting today at noon to decide if Howard Terminal should be on the ballot this November. If the measure passes, voters can decide if public funds should be used to pay for public infrastructure costs related to the project. The meeting comes days after the project passed a critical vote to allow the port land to be used for non-port-related development.
