New renderings have been published along with an environmental review of plans for a six-story residential building at 1073-1087 South Winchester Boulevard in West San Jose. The development would add 61 new apartments into the San Jose housing market inside the Winchester Boulevard Urban Village. Cord Associates is the project applicant and developer, and San Jose-based dentist Adam Askari is the property owner.

Number 32: Hilton at 333 O’Farrell Street, Tenderloin, San Francisco

The 32nd tallest building in the Bay Area planned or built is 333 O’Farrell Street in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood by Union Square. The structure rises 493 feet tall to be the tallest structure exclusively for hotel use in the Bay, and was the second of three structures in the full-block Hilton San Francisco complex. 333 O’Farrell opened in 1971 with design by John Carl Warnecke & Associates.

The project aims to build 122 new residential condominiums across a strip of land spanning 6.87 acres straddling Bayview Park. San Francisco-based real estate private equity firm, Strada Investment Group, is responsible for the development.

Pre-Application Filed for 2305 Webster Street, Northgate-Waverly, Oakland

New pre-application permits were filed for the entitled project at 2305 Webster Street in the Northgate-Waverly neighborhood between 23rd and 24th Street abutting Downtown Oakland. The recent application is larger than a previous iteration as it includes affordable housing thanks to the State Density bonus program. Avi Nevo of Segula Investments is responsible for the development, with San Francisco-based Ankrom Moisan Architects responsible for the design.
