The environmental review has found the mixed-use Cambrian Park Village would not result in any significant and unavoidable impacts to the environment. Thanks to this, property owner Weingarten Realty Investors is a step closer to construction in Willow Glen, San Jose. The proposal, at 14200 Union Avenue, has also benefited from the City of San Jose Urban Village framework to encourage the production of new transit-oriented urban hubs across the predominantly suburban city.

New building permits have been filed for the three structures that will comprise the residential development at 1925 Brush Street in Ralph Bunche, West Oakland. Construction will build eighteen new townhouses near the city’s central business district. Riaz Capital is the project applicant and owner.
555 California Street is the sixth tallest skyscraper in the Bay Area, planned or built. Formerly known as the Bank of America Building, the distinct carnelian granite-clad tower stands 779 feet above the San Francisco Financial District streets. 555 California was briefly the tallest building in the country west of the Mississippi River when finished in 1969. Vornado Realty Trust and the Trump Organization are joint property owners.
New renderings have been published for a high-end single-family home at 315 Rutledge Street in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood. The project would replace a vacant lot with three floors over a basement. Eric Staten of Does Architecture, a San Francisco-based firm, will be managing the design.
New aerial photographs show construction is wrapping up for 24th and Harrison, the 18-story mixed-use development at 277 27th Street in Northgate-Waverly. The project is the largest new addition to the neighborhood just north of the downtown core, and its scale reflects Oakland’s grand appetite for new housing. Holland Partner Group is responsible for the development.
