Renderings for the Monarch Bay Shoreline Project in San Leandro

Updated renderings have been revealed with detailed plans for the Monarch Bay Shoreline Development project, poised to reshape 75 acres of the San Leandro waterfront. The plans would reshape a swath of surface parking and a portion of an existing golf course into 491 residential units, a 210-room hotel, and shops between Marina Park and the Oakland International Airport in Alameda County. The project is a public-private partnership with the City of San Leandro and Cal Coast Companies.

Northpointe Reserve Files Permits in Natomas, Sacramento

The Sacramento Planning Department has received an application for Northpointe Reserve, a proposed 48-unit suburban development in North Natomas, Sacramento. The project would reshape 2.7 acres of vacant land with added density at the corner of Bridgecross Drive and Honor Parkway. Next Generation Capital is the project applicant.

With 17 units per acre, the project will be an improvement over suburban sprawls’ usual density of four to five units per acre.

GLIDE Foundation Proposal Modernization Project, Tenderloin, San Francisco

The GLIDE Foundation has submitted the preliminary project application for modernized facilities and a new ten-story office tower at 334 Ellis Street in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. The $200 million plans would expand institutional capacity, improve its accessibility for community services, and modernize the existing Glide Memorial Church building systems. EHDD Architecture will be responsible for the design.
