Development permits have been filed for a six-story residential structure at 7300 MacArthur Boulevard in Eastmont, Oakland. The project will reshape a vacant lot with 200 units, including 20 low-income homes. BDE Architecture is managing the application and design.
Construction is wrapping up for Lofton at Portola, a 54-unit single-family development located in the Portola neighborhood. As highlighted earlier this year by the San Francisco Chronicle, the project is the largest housing development to be finished in the diverse neighborhood in 50 years. Tri Pointe Homes is responsible for the development.
Development permits have been filed for a five-story affordable housing building at 1003 East 15th Street in Merritt, Oakland. The project, to be called Dr. Kenneth Anderson Senior Living, will build on the surface parking lot of Williams Chapel Baptist Church with 68 affordable homes and replacement parking for the church. Eden Housing is the project sponsor.
The UCSF Nancy Friend Pritzker Psychiatry Building has finished and is being prepared for opening at 2130 3rd Street in Dogpatch, San Francisco. As part of the UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, it is one of the first medical facilities in the country to integrate physical and mental health care, interdisciplinary academics, and research. The project was developed in a joint venture with The Prado Group and SKS Partners.
The San Francisco Board of Supervisors has approved five-story plans for 3832 18th Street in the Mission District. The project has been shortened from a previous application with six floors but still has 19 group housing units. Vanguard Properties is responsible for the applicant, operating through M-J SF Investments LLC.
