New renderings have been published for a proposed 50-unit townhouse development at 166 East Fremont Avenue in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. The project will demolish one low-rise commercial building and renovate another on the easterly portion of the existing Fremont Corners shopping center. The San Ramon-based True Life Companies is responsible for the development.
Construction is reaching a milestone for 200 Park Avenue, a major office tower rising in Downtown San Jose. Concrete has reached street level, with steel soon to rise toward the 300-foot pinnacle. Once complete, the project will add 840,000 square feet of rentable office space to the Silicon Valley market. The prolific Jay Paul Company is responsible for the development.
Updated plans are under review for a seven-story mixed-use proposal for 159 Fell Street in San Francisco’s Civic Center. The project is expected to add 24 for-sale units to the city’s housing market, a four-unit increase from earlier plans. Mission District-based SAK Design & Build is managing the development.
The City of San Jose planning commission has tentatively scheduled to review plans for a seven-story mixed-use development at 1530 and 1544 West San Carlos Street in San Jose’s West San Carlos neighborhood. The proposal would add 173 new apartments to the Silicon Valley housing market along with communal area and commercial space. Urban Villas LLC is responsible for the development.
New building permits have been filed for a ten-structure residential development at 2631-2635 Beaumont Street in Old North Sacramento. The development will add ten units to the vacant parcel less than five minutes from a regional bus station. William Coburn Architect is responsible for the design.
