Studio Gang-Designed Tower Topped Out in Mission Rock, San Francisco

Construction has topped out with the installation of the eye-catching green ceramic tile facade just one floor from its peak on Mission Rock Parcel F in San Francisco’s Mission Bay. The 23-story tower is the last of four builds in phase one of the Mission Rock master plan. Parcel F was developed by Mission Rock Partners, a joint venture by the San Francisco Giants and Tishman Speyer. Chicago-based Studio Gang is the design architect.

Extension Request for Jack London Square Hotel, Oakland

The Oakland Planning Commission is scheduled to vote on a second extension request for approved entitlements to a six-story hotel at Parcel F3 along the Jack London Square waterfront. The project was first approved in March of 2018, and the entitlement received an extension in 2019 that was increased during the pandemic following the city’s Emergency Order Number 6. CIM Group is the project developer.

New Renderings for 490 Brannan Street in SoMa, San Francisco

New renderings have been published for the 12-story office proposal at 490 Brannan Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The project will replace a vacant commercial structure with offices directly across from the new light rail station and two blocks from Caltrain’s San Francisco Station. Trammell Crow Company is the developer after purchasing the site from Strada last year for $54 million.
