The Fitzgerald is now open, directly across from the recently launched affordable housing complex at 681 Florida Street and near the freshly remodeled KQED headquarters. Align Real Estate is the developer.

New renderings have been published for a two-unit house at 1240 Stanyan Street in Ashbury Heights, San Francisco. The plan will replace a smaller two-unit home. The project application was filed by Gary Bell and Associates., a local permit expeditor and development consultant.
The initial environmental review has been published for a new warehouse proposal at 644-675 Piercy Road in southern San Jose, Santa Clara County. The plan will merge two mostly vacant parcels spanning nearly 16 acres for a new warehouse. Texas-based developer Hines is responsible for the application.
The project team and city officials gathered last week to celebrate the grand opening of Kapuso at the Upper Yard, a nine-story affordable housing project at 2340 San Jose Avenue in San Francisco’s Outer Mission neighborhood. The project has created 131 low- to moderate-income family homes on public land owned by BART and developed in partnership with Related and the Mission Housing Development Corporation. State Senator Scott Wiener, author of Senate Bill 35, which provided Kapuso a clear path for approval, attended the event.
Construction is moving forward for the new six-story student-oriented complex at 4400 Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Temescal, Oakland. The project, named theRefuge, will create 57 units with 155 beds near the MacArthur BART Station. Adam McClure of Portia+Rohm Development is listed as the project developer.
