The project proposal includes the construction of eight buildings offering spaces for residential and commercial uses. The project calls for the demolition of all existing buildings located from 37447 through 37467 Fremont Boulevard. City Ventures is the project applicant. Hunt Hale Jones Architects is responsible for the designs.

The famous Swedish store is launching its third Bay Area location, two decades after its East Palo Alto location, with a new approach for urban shoppers. The city model integrates delivery services for larger products, a deli, and future plans for the Hej!Workshop.

Builder’s Remedy Application Filed for 3150 El Camino Real, Palo Alto

Acclaim Companies has filed an alternative application for what is now a builder’s remedy-assisted plan to develop 3150 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The seven-story project, initially filed this June, aims to build 380 new homes on the 2.55-acre site. Communications with the city’s planning department show the developer is filing the second application in response to the department’s signal of disapproval for the increased housing.

Construction Underway for Affordable Senior Housing in San Ramon

Construction is underway for Aspen Wood, an entirely affordable senior housing project on the southern border of San Ramon, Contra Costa County. The project will create 123 new homes at 9000 Alcosta Boulevard, close to the Walmart-anchored Country Club Village shopping center. Standard Communities and Housing On Merit are jointly responsible for the development.
