New building permits have been filed for a four-story apartment development at 950 Hough Avenue by the Lafayette BART Station in Contra Costa County. The proposal was approved in March of 2021 with 20 condominiums, including three affordable units. The Griggs Resource Group is responsible for the project, operating through 950 Hough Investors LLC.
New building permits have been filed for a new eight-story affordable housing infill at 850 Turk Street in San Francisco’s Fillmore District. The mid-rise project will create 92 new apartments. Cahill is listed as the general contractor.
New building permits and demolition permits were filed for a four-story residential infill at 1221 Vicente Street in San Francisco’s Sunset District. The proposal will create three apartments and ground-level retail on the small 0.06-acre property. My My Ly Architects is responsible for the design.
Plans for the fully entitled apartment proposal at 60-70 South Almaden Avenue are available for sale in Downtown San Jose, Santa Clara County. The proposal, known as the Greyhound site, was approved to create 708 units across 1.2 million square feet. Z&L Properties has owned the property since 2016. Last year, one of the real estate firm’s top principals was arrested regarding alleged bribery in San Francisco.
Crews have broken ground for the American Buddhist Cultural Society, a new six-story temple rising at 1750 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood. The new facilities will provide a new community center for the San Bao Temple. Skidmore Owings & Merrill is responsible for the design.
