The South San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for the seven-story redevelopment of Bertolucci’s parcel at 421 Cypress Avenue. The project will add 99 new rental apartments to the city in San Mateo County City, with design by Studio-T Square. Peter & Victoria Sodini are listed as the project applicant.
A new residential project has been proposed at 805 R Street in Downtown Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of a seven-story high building offering affordable residential units. Plans call for the demolition of the existing warehouse on the site. Mutual Housing California and the Capitol Area Development Authority (CADA) are teaming up for the project. Salazar Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
New plans shared with YIMBY reveal that 1998 Shattuck Avenue has again become the tallest proposed tower for Downtown Berkeley, Alameda County. The 28-story project is now two floors higher, 40 feet taller, covers two additional parcels, and, most significantly, residential capacity has doubled to 599 apartments. NX Ventures is the project developer.
The Santa Clara Development Review board is scheduled to review plans for a five-story affordable housing project at 1601 Civic Center Drive later today. The project will replace a single-story office with 108 new homes. Charities Housing is responsible for the proposal.

The project proposal includes the construction of 13 three-story townhomes and Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs).
