Development permits have been files seeking the approval of a residential project proposed at 745 Capitol Avenue in Ocean View, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a three-story residential building offering residential units. Plans call for the demolition of an existing single-story type v-b single-family residence. Kerman Morris Architects is responsible for the designs.
Construction officially started yesterday afternoon for the eight-story affordable housing project at 240 Van Ness Avenue in the Civic Center, San Francisco. The event, attended by Mayor London Breed, highlighted the project’s disability-forward approach for residents of the future 112 units. The project is co-developed by The Kelsey and Mercy Housing.
Studio Gang has been selected to design the newest addition to the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, the Stanford Sustainability Commons next to Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The firm is tasked with creating the interdisciplinary core for the school to research and tackle issues of climate change and sustainability across the world.
A new housing project is all set to break ground today at its project site at 3301 Kerner Boulevard in San Rafael. The project proposal includes the construction of a 100% permanent supportive housing complex. The project will convert a vacant office building on the site. Eden Housing is the project developer. Van Meter Williams Pollack LLP is responsible for the designs.
Updated plans are scheduled to be reviewed tonight for the three-building residential infill of 1532-1556 Mount Diablo Boulevard in Walnut Creek, Contra Costa County. The development will replace the low-slung property close to some of the city’s busiest shops with 42 homes and retail. Align Real Estate is the development owner, with the international Woods Bagot responsible for design.
