The special development permit makes a significant step toward construction, ensuring that the existing environmental impact report is sufficient. The structure will be the final phase for the Cityline Sunnyvale project. STC Venture LLC, a joint venture between J.P. Morgan, Hunter Properties, and Sares Regis Group, is responsible for the development.

The move reduces the eventual construction from offering 529 units to 393. While phase one is currently underway to build a seven-story and 324 unit structure, a planned phase two will now build just 69 units versus the initial 205 proposed. AMG & Associates LLC is responsible for the application.
