The proposal would have become the tallest structure in the Bay Area outside of San Francisco, but the struggling real estate market has pushed the prominent developer away. New renderings have been published alongside an updated construction timeline for 2530 18th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The development will create a new home for the Homeless Prenatal Program resource agency and 73 new affordable homes. HPP is working with the developer Mercy Housing. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2024.
Construction has started for a new five-story life sciences complex at 200 Twin Dolphin Drive in Redwood City, San Mateo County. The plan will replace a low-slung office campus in the Redwood Shores neighborhood by Foster City and San Carlos. Trammell Crow Company is the project developer.
