The 28th tallest building in the Bay Area planned or built is 425 Market Street, located in SoMa, San Francisco. The 524-foot tall office building rises on the south side of the city’s main artery, holding nearly a million square feet of office space. The building was finished in 1973 with the architecture by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.
Applications were submitted seeking the approval of constructing a new hotel at 530 Sansome Street in Financial District, San Francisco. An alternate proposal has been submitted that suggests building housing instead of the hotel. Related California is the project developer. The project is designed by the San Francisco office of architecture firm, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM).
New illustrations have been revealed for the seven-story residential proposal at 925 Bryant Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The group-housing development would produce 218 dwelling units above retail space. Carmel Partners is responsible for the development.
Local developer Roygbiv Real Estate has released detailed renderings for 1298 Tripp Avenue. The illustrations focus on the first in three phases of construction that will produce approximately 1,200 new apartments, including affordable housing, in Five Wounds, San Jose. Named Residencias Arrianna, the development aims to create new apartments and public amenities by the future location of the 28th Street Little Portugal BART Station.
New renderings have been revealed for the proposed five-story mixed-use building at 198 Valencia Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The project is expected to add 29 dwelling units and retail to the city’s housing market. San Francisco-based JS Sullivan is behind the project.
