New Rendering with Third Tower for Brooklyn Basin, Oakland

A new rendering has been published ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with Oakland’s Design Review Committee for Brooklyn Basin, a waterfront master-planned development. The request would expand the development’s residential capacity to hold 3,700 apartments, with over a hundred more boat slips. Oakland-based Signature Development Group is developing the project, with joint financing from Signature, Zarsion Holdings Group, and Reynolds & Brown.

The project proposal includes the development of a six-story building offering 100 percent affordable residential units over a one-story basement. Charities Housing is the project developer. David Baker Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
