The new preliminary application has been filed for a residential infill at 323 Lester Avenue in Cleveland Heights, Oakland. The filing comes after initial plans in 2020 for ten units in the rear of an existing two-unit building. Athan Magganas, the project applicant, is now considering 13 affordable apartments in a five-story addition by using the State Density Bonus program.
Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project at 721 3rd Street in West Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of a five-story residential building offering residential units and underground parking. Fulcrum Properties and Fairfield Residential are the project developers.
New renderings have been revealed ahead of the Planning Commission review of 7 South Linden Avenue, a seven-story residential proposal in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The transit-adjacent project is expected to create 543 homes by the South San Francisco Caltrain Station while expanding the burgeoning urban growth of the downtown area further south. Essex Property Trust is the project developer.
New renderings have been published for the six-story residential infill at 2147 San Pablo Avenue in Southwest Berkeley, Alameda County. The plans will replace an auto-body shop and surface parking with 128 units of group living to house above retail. Studio KDA is leading the application and design.
University of San Francisco may soon expand its campus at 270 Masonic Street in Anza Vista, San Francisco. USF President Paul J. Fitzgerald and USF plan to expand interdisciplinary learning and research in the sciences. After 10 years of discussions with the nonprofit that owned it, University of San Francisco purchased Blood Bank located at 270 Masonic Street for $31 million in June. The purchase adds 1.5 acres to the Hilltop campus.
