Construction is wrapping up on the six-story office building at 5407 Stevens Creek Boulevard in the southwest corner of Santa Clara. It is the second and final phase for the Apple-leased site, located by the city border with both Cupertino and San Jose, and across I-280 from the massive Foster + Partners-designed Apple Park. Peery Arrillaga, the well-established Silicon Valley development company, is responsible for the project.
New renderings have been revealed for the six-story residential proposal at 2955 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The development will create 18 new homes, including two as affordable housing. The project owner shared with SFYIMBY that “after almost 3 years of effort collaborating with city departments, we are getting closer to public hearings.”
A residential project has been proposed at 2301 Columbia Avenue in the Southwest Annex neighborhood, Richmond City. The project proposal includes the development of a landscaped residential community of three-story townhome-style condominiums with a few affordable housing units. Plans call for the retention of the exisiting development on the site. The exisiting development is not a part of the proposed project. City Ventures is the project applicant. WHA Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
New building permits have been filed for a five-story residential development at 1817 Broadway in Land Park, Sacramento. The proposal would build 47 new homes, replacing a vacant commercial structure formerly occupied by the On Broadway Cafe House of Jazz. A project application has not been listed.
The City of San Ramon’s planning commission has been presented amended plans for the Hampton Inn and Suite hotel for 2231 Omega Road, in one of the larger cities of Contra Costa County. The altered proposal has switched the parking from an above-ground garage to subterranean levels and reduced the overall parking. Gerald Goldbach of Fortune Architects is responsible for the design.
