New renderings have been revealed for the eight-story mixed-use proposal at 1598 University Avenue in Central Berkeley, Alameda County. The project would replace some low-slung commercial buildings with 207 new homes, a minor reduction from initial plans eleven months ago. NX Ventures is the project applicant and property owner.
Demolition permits have been filed for a property located at 465 25th Street in the Northgate neighborhood in Oakland. The project proposal includes the demotion of an existing non-historic warehouse in order to make way for a parking lot. The building was constructed in 1922. Imwalle Properties is just two days away from possible approval by the city of San Jose for the proposed 15-story commercial office infill at 250 Stockon Avenue by Diridon Station, Santa Clara County. The project will create nearly a million square feet of new office space within Google’s proposed Downtown West master plan. But as the tech giant has delayed the start of its further urban expansion, so is the initial early 2024 groundbreaking for 250 Stockton Avenue.
