A new residential development has been proposed at 479 Naples Street in Excelsior, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of two three-story single-family residences. Demolition of an exisiting three-story residence is proposed for the new construction to move forward. i-Design Architecture is responsible for the design concepts.
Positive results are out for an environmental review condcted for a residential project proposed at 777 West San Carlos Street in San Jose. The project proposal includes the development of a six-story building with residential spaces and onsite supportive services for the residents. The four existing buildings on the site will be demolished. Danco Communities is the project applicant. SGPA Architecture and Planning is responsible for the design concepts.
Plans have been revealed for a five-story mixed-use development at 990 34th Street, located between San Pablo Avenue and Market Street in West Oakland. The project, titled the Brubeck Building, would replace an existing two-story apartment building with 44 new homes. Gunkel Architecture is managing the design.
Development review permits have been filed for a five-unit residential addition at 1908 H Street, located between 19th and 20th Street in Boulevard Park, Sacramento. The project will be built at the rear of the lot facing Historic Alley, retaining the existing 1892-built duplex which faces H Street.
Plans have been approved for the residential infill at 921 O’Farrell Street in San Francisco, clearing the path for construction to start by next summer or early fall. The 14-story building will soon rise from a 0.1-acre site to build fifty new homes. David Baker Architects is responsible for the design.
