Permits have been approved to transform a single-family lot to contain four units at 2967 23rd Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The construction involves adding a vertical addition to an existing single-family residence and building a new four-story two-unit place on a currently vacant portion of the lot. The new housing will do a small part to help capture demand for one of the city’s most distinctive neighborhoods. Kieran Woods Construction is the owner and contractor for the project.
A new residential project has been proposed for development at 1265 Montecito Avenue in Mountain View. The project proposal includes the development of two new five-story multifamily residential buildings. Plans call for the demolition of an existing building on the site. Charities Housing is the project developer.
The pre-application permit has been filed for a six-story mixed-use development at 2959 San Pablo Avenue in Southwest Berkeley, Alameda County. The project will replace a single-story auto-service building with 48 apartments and retail across from Ashby Plaza and Berkeley Bowl West. Aron Developers is responsible for the application.
The Draft Environmental Impact Report has been re-filed for the Hyatt Place proposal in Half Moon Bay along the San Mateo County coast. The proposal would build undeveloped land with 129 new guest rooms while leaving 40 percent of the five-acre lot as open space. Mason Architects is responsible for the design.
Preliminary permits have been filed for a seven-story SRO project at 1401 Folsom Street, located in SoMa, San Francisco. The project would replace a surface parking lot at the corner of Folsom and 10th Street with 72 bedrooms above ground-level retail. Yosef Tahbazof is listed as the property owner responsible for the project.
