Plans have been approved for Moffett Park Specific Plan, a 1,270-acre industrial neighborhood set to become a new mixed-use district in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. The rezoning of the waterfront area would result in around 20,000 homes and over ten million square feet of new commercial space with improvements to transit, walkability, and cycling.
A new residential project has been proposed for development at 343 Paul Avenue in Bayview, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of four new residential dwelling units.
Construction is moving forward on Gateway, the future home for UC Berkeley’s first new college in over half a century. The College of Computing, Data Science, and Society, or CDSS, will occupy the new structure on the northwest edge of the parcel. Weiss/Manfredi is responsible for the design.
Preliminary permits have been filed for a new residential campus at 211-281 River Oaks Parkway in North San Jose, Santa Clara County. The plan will create 737 units across two apartment buildings and over a dozen townhome-style structures. Valley Oak Partners is the project developer.
New renderings were recently published for a residential infill project proposed for development at 1752 Shattuck Avenue in North Berkeley, Alameda County. The project proposal includes the construction of a seven-story building offering spaces for residential uses alongside retail. The project application requested to demolish an empty single-story vehicle service building on the site.
