Plans continue to progress for Ampersand, the commercial redevelopment of 130 Townsend Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The project developer, Presidio Bay Ventures, has recently submitted the Monitoring Conditions and Mitigation Measures application in a signal that the ministerial process is nearing completion.
New plans have been submitted for a three-story townhome-style development at 1517 E Street in Mansion Flats, Sacramento. The plans provide five iterations for the exterior color palette, with no indication of which version they expect to use. Tarik Taeha of Pearl Seven Inc is listed as the property owner.
FullStack Modular has announced that they have been tapped to construct the Treehouse Hotel in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. Plans are expected to start soon, with the production of modules starting in February of next year. Construction is moving quickly for the new Science & Engineering Innovation Center on the San Francisco State University Campus. The SEIC building will bring new facilities with state-of-the-art equipment for future students while housing the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry and the School of Engineering. The building is expected to open by early 2024.
Development permits have been filed for a residential project proposed at 4742 Mission Street, Excelsior, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of an eight-story building. The project sponsor proposes the demolition of the existing fifteen-foot-tall, one-story commercial building, and a seventy-five-foot tall mixed-use building. The proposed project is a Home-SF development. Home-SF is San Francisco’s local density bonus program. SIA Consulting is managing the designs.
