A new academic campus has been proposed at 1140 7th Street in Design District, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a new campus for California College of the Arts in San Francisco. Studio Gang is responsible for the design concepts.
Construction has topped out for Buildings B and G in Mission Rock, with Building A near the same milestone, and groundbreaking imminent for Building F. As phase one of the project speeds towards completion, more is expected from one of the most prominent projects to complete San Francisco’s decades-long plan to replace surface parking in Mission Bay with a vibrant transit-oriented neighborhood. Mission Rock is being led by Mission Rock Partner, a joint venture with Tishman Speyer and the San Francisco Giants.
The Hanover Company’s proposal will bring over a thousand new homes to North San Jose. The City of San Jose is beginning to prepare the Environmental Impact Report for the project, 0 Seely Avenue, and city staff are looking for public input to guide the project. A city meeting is scheduled for tonight, and the public can submit written comments on the scope of the EIR from now until March 25th.
Permits have been submitted seeking the approval of a new residential project at 3161 San Rafael Court in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of a new duplex on the vacant lot. Century Brothers Inc is the property owner. Fineline Drafting Inc is responsible for the design concepts.
New renderings have been published for the residential infill plans at 2701 Broadway in Curtis Park, Sacramento. Separated by a freeway from the rest of Midtown and Downtown Sacramento, the project offers added density in a retail-rich neighborhood. Demolition permits were filed in mid-February. Baran Studio Architecture is the project architect.
