New renderings have been revealed for the six-story residential development at 7300 MacArthur Boulevard in Eastmont, Oakland. The project will replace the vacant parcel with roughly 200 units, including 20 affordable units. RMG Housing, a Los Angeles-based developer, is responsible for the application.
A fourth plan set has been published by the City of San Jose for the proposed traditional Cambodian Buddhist Temple at 2740 Ruby Avenue in Evergreen, San Jose. The project is called the Wat Khmer Kampuchea Krom, and it will consist of a temple and a community building. A Khmer Buddhist Foundation, led by President Lyna Lam, is responsible for the project.
A new mixed-use project has been approved for construction at 17395 Monterey Road in Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County. The project proposes the development of a three-story building offering art gallery and retail spaces. The project pays homage to the Edes Brothers Hardware Store that occupied the site more than a century ago. Golden Quail, LLC is the project developer. KTGY Architecture + Planning is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
The City of Oakland has published the environmental analysis for 2929 Broadway, a seven-story mixed-use project located on Pill Hill, Oakland. The study concludes that the project is eligible for streamlining through the California Environmental Quality Act process, hastening the path toward approval and construction of 220 apartments. The Martin Group is responsible for the project as the applicant and property owner.
The San Francisco Planning Department has approved plans for a three-story residential infill at 2055 Chestnut Street in the city’s Marina District. The project would create 49 new homes, plenty of retail, and a grocery store in a busy commercial area. Prado Group is managing the development.
