Permits have finally been filed for three twelve-story towers at 2200 Calle De Luna, in Tasman East, Santa Clara. This development is the first in a series of projects from the city’s Tasman East Specific Plan. City plans aim to transform 45 acres of a low-rise industrial neighborhood to be a high-density residential and office district with proximity to light rail and the Levi’s Stadium. Holland Partners Group is responsible for the development of 2200 Calle De Luna.
Permits have been filed to construct a five-story mixed-use building at 3260 26th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The address, located between Virgil Street and Shotwell Street, is a seven-minute walk from the 24th St Mission BART station. Kerman Morris Architects will be responsible for the design.
Permits have been filed to expand the two structures at 1454-1464 Union Street in Russian Hill, San Francisco. The lots sit between Polk Street and Van Ness Avenue. Future tenants will be near multiple bus connections that can take future residents to downtown San Francisco.
Ingka Centres has announced that they will bring IKEA into the city as the firm purchased the 6X6 Mall at 945 Market Street in SoMa, San Francisco. IKEA will be the anchor tenant, occupying 70,000 square feet, with 180,000 square feet of leasable space still available for future businesses. The move has provided hope for the city’s retail market in 2021, with work starting before the year’s end.
