Application Filed for Jewish Community Hub at 5901 College Avenue, Rockridge, Oakland

New plans have been filed to the Oakland Planning Commission for a new religious community hub at 5901 College Avenue for the city’s Rockridge neighborhood. The plans would repurpose an existing office space and create a new home for the non-profit Jewish Community Center of the East Bay, remaining in Alameda County. Equity Community Builders is responsible for the application.

Public Comment Starts for Affordable Housing in San Quentin, Marin County

The Draft Environmental Impact Report is under review that would increase the housing stock of the unincorporated community of San Quentin fivefold. Education Housing Partners and Eden Housing have proposed Oak Hill Apartments, an entirely affordable complex with 250 new apartments across two structures on the hilly 8.3-acre property. The proposal, located around 101 Sir Francis Drive Boulevard, is the largest affordable project in Marin County in roughly 50 years.
