The Berkeley Design Review Committee is scheduled to review plans tonight for the four-story apartments at 2403 San Pablo Avenue in Southwest Berkeley, Alameda County. Urban Development + Partners, the project owner, hopes to start construction by the third quarter of this year.
New plans are moving forward for a five-story affordable housing complex at 6661 Folsom Boulevard in East Sacramento. The project will bring over a hundred units close to light rail and the Sacramento State campus. CRP Affordable is the property owner.
Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project at 3242 X Street in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of two single-family homes. Tangent Design & Engineering (TDE) is responsible for the designs.
The Berkeley Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for an eight-story residential project at 2462 Bancroft Way in Berkeley’s Southside neighborhood. The plan would add dozens of new homes overlooking the UC Berkeley campus. San Leandro-based Zengs Berkeley LLC is listed as the property owner.
The San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit Board of Directors recently reviewed the latest plans for the El Cerrito Plaza BART Station. The public presentation includes a tentative phasing schedule, which says construction on the several-hundred-unit masterplan could start as early as next year. The transit agency is working with Related California and Holliday Development.
