Building permits have been issued for a mixed-use residential project proposed at 55 Broadway in Jack London Sqaure, Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of an eight-story building offering residential, retail, and parking spaces. The building once completed will replace a surface parking lot on the site. CIM Group is the project developer.
New entitlement plans have been filed for a three-story apartment complex at 6779 Q Street by CSUS in East Sacramento. The project would replace a vacant lot near light rail with 75 affordable units. Community Housing Works is the property owner responsible for the development.
Permits have been approved For Mirasol Village Block D, a five-structure portion of the Mirasol Village masterplan at 1381 Swallowtail Avenue in Sacramento’s River District. The latest permit shows Block D is expected to add 116 new units and an early childhood education center. The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency is the property owner and project lead.

Several sections of a construction crane have been delivered yesterday afternoon to 30 Van Ness Avenue, a recently-cleared lot in San Francisco’s Civic Center. Crews finished demolition of the five-story office building this January, and now the site is primed for excavation of the city’s tallest skyscraper in the Hub, and the second tallest in the city after the Transbay Parcel F by Hines and Urban Pacific. Australia-based multinational real estate company Lendlease is the developer and contractor of the 47-story mixed-use proposal.
