The San Jose planning commission will review and vote on adopting the Berryessa BART Urban Village Plan as a guiding policy document in a public meeting tomorrow evening. The plan would rezone 28.9 acres surrounding the newly-opened BART station to allow for over four million square feet of commercial space and roughly 5,100 new residential units.
New building permits have been filed seeking the approval of constructing a new four-story residential building at 660 Carolina Street in Potrero Hill, San Francisco. The project proposal includes two new apartments, parking, and a roof deck. Knock Architecture + Design is managing the design concept and construction of the project.
San Jose’s Planning Commission is scheduled to review updated plans this Wednesday, the 24th, for the proposed office building at 282 South Market Street in Downtown San Jose. The city staff recommends the approval of two resolutions and the commission to file a Notice of Determination for CEQA. The Mountain View-based Sobrato Organization is responsible for the development.
New building permits have been filed for an eight-story 100% affordable housing development with priority from the Mayor’s office at 400 China Basin Street in Mission Bay, San Francisco. The project will take up Block 9A of the neighborhood-wide master plan for the waterfront area. The developer team is being co-managed by Curtis Development, Michael Simmons Property Development, and YCD, i.e., Young Community Developers.
City’s Planning Department is reviewing a proposal submitted for Sacred Heart Cathedral School at 1103 Gough Street, Fillmore District, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the school’s plans to improve the campus by implementing streetscape improvements at Gough and Ellis Streets’ intersection. Langan Engineering and Environmental Services is managing the construction.
