Development permits have been filed for a new hospital proposed for construction at 415 Railyards Boulevard in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of a new hospital complex from Kaiser Permanente. Hensel Phelps Construction Co. is the project developer. SmithGroup is the design and landscape architect. The engineering team will include Arup, Kimley-Horn, and KPFF.
Preliminary permits have been filed for a mix of suburban expansion and apartments on a swath of open land in Gilroy, Santa Clara County. The proposal, named South Gilroy, aims to construct nearly three thousand homes across nearly 270 acres, which would single-handedly fulfill most of the city’s Regional Housing Needs Allocation obligation. Carlsbad-based HomeFed Corporation is responsible for the application.
Prospective tenants now have the chance to apply to live at the affordable housing complex at 240 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco’s Civic Center. Construction topped out earlier this year for the eight-story building, named The Kelsey Civic Center, with move-ins expected early next year. Applications will be accepted until October 16th.
A new residential project is under review for development at 20865 McClellan Road in Cupertino. The project proposal includes the development of a new townhome community offering 27 residences. Terra Holdings is the project developer.
Exterior work is wrapping up for the eight-story affordable housing project at 600 7th Street in SoMa, San Francisco. Crews with Guzman Construction and Suffolk Construction have finished installing most facade panels and can be seen making progress for the interiors of the future 221-unit apartment complex. Mercy Housing is the project developer.
