Urban Land Development, ULD, is the project developer.

The property is located in the transit-oriented Lawrence Station Area Plan, a once low-rise commercial district that is in the process of transformation into a dense mixed-use neighborhood. The project, dubbed Ventana Residences, will soon open with 193 new homes as the largest project built using the HOME-SF affordable housing development program. New plans have been filed for an affordable housing project at 2301 Telegraph Avenue in Northgate-Waverly, Oakland. The seven-story proposal will replace a single-story commercial building with 58 homes. Mithun is listed as the project architect.
