An official groundbreaking ceremony has been held for the new mixed-income residential project across from Tamien Station in San Jose. The 555-unit project is the first development from the Valley Transit Authority in two decades, with half a dozen more in the pipeline. VTA is partnering with Core Companies and Republic Urban Properties.
Preliminary plans have been filed for a townhome development at 3450 Central Expressway in the Lawrence Station Area Plan in Santa Clara. The proposal would replace a low-slung commercial office structure next to Summerhill Homes’ dense residential neighborhood, Nuevo. The project applicant is not specified.
Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a hotel project proposed for development at 3664 North Freeway Boulevard in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a new four-story hotel with onsite parking. Bluespring Hospitality LLC is the property owner. Iyer and Associates Architects is responsible for the designs.
The South San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for a commercial office or lab development at 573 Forbes Boulevard in the burgeoning East Side neighborhood in San Mateo County. Plans write that the development could be used for offices, R&D, or technology development. Vigilant Holdings is the project sponsor.
A preliminary project application has been submitted for a residential project proposed for development at 1515 Half Road in Morgan Hill. The project proposal includes the construction of 300+residences in the form of single-family residences and duplexes, along with onsite amenities and parking.
