Alexandria Real Estate Equities has secured a future long-term headquarters for Eikon Therapeutics. The new HQ will be in the Millbrae Offices and Life Sciences campus, currently under construction across from the Millbrae Train Station. The company will be moving to San Mateo County from its current location in Hayward.
A new residential project has been proposed at 1357 Fifth Street in West Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of hundreds of homes replacing a surface parking lot with 500 parking spaces. The parking lot is managed by Impark. Martin Group is the project developer. The developer filed paperwork with the city June 9.
New plans have been filed for a five-story residential development at 2800 Telegraph Avenue, in South Berkeley, Alameda County. The project will replace a single-story commercial structure with thirteen new homes. Berkeley-based Trachtenberg Architects is responsible for the design.
The Berkeley Design Review Committee is scheduled to review plans for a four-story research and development facility at 700 Grayson Street in Southwest Berkeley, Alameda County. The project would demolish two existing industrial buildings. REDCO Development is the project applicant.
A new residential project will soon be developed at 851 Sacramento Avenue in West Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of a new five-story residential building with live-work units and a one-story retail complex on the site. LPMD Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
