The San Jose City Council unanimously approved plans for massive office development at 280 Woz Way on the outskirts of the Downtown high-rise core. The proposal will see two new complementary office towers along the street named after Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. Cupertino-based KT Urban is the project developer.
One Post Street is tied as the 26th tallest building in the Bay Area, planned or built. The office tower stands 529 feet above street level in the San Francisco Financial District. The tower had been home to the McKesson Corporation Global Headquarters before the firm moved to Texas in 2019. Brookfield Properties is the building owner, with leasing managed by JLL.
Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new development at 3801 Gateway Park Boulevard, Sacramento. The project proposal includes developing the site to house an apartment building, a commercial hub, and some site work. Ethan Conrad Properties is the project developer and property owner. RSC Engineering Inc is the project applicant.
The San Francisco planning commission has approved plans to construct a 13-story group housing complex at 450 O’Farrell Street in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. Once complete, the building will include 316 new dwelling units, a new church facility, and ground-level space for a Christian Science Reading room. The project is sponsored by the Fifth Church of Christ, Scientist.
Permits have been filed for a six-story redevelopment of 55 Francisco Street in North Beach, San Francisco. The proposal will expand the existing garage into 118 new dwelling units while retaining the existing seven-story office building that shares the parcel. Jamestown LP is the owner responsible for the development.
