The residential capacity has been reduced from 510 to 448 units while preserving the Treadwell Estate with Macky Hall, and the Carriage House. Emerald Fund and Equity Community Builders are the project sponsors.
The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for a six-story mixed-use complex at 4550 Mission Street in the Outer Mission. The proposal is expected to created 69 new homes above retail using the local HOME-SF density bonus program. Schaub Li Architects is responsible for the application.
A new residential project has been proposed for development at 37660 Timber Street in Newark. The project proposal includes the construction of a senior housing community offering 79 residential units for seniors. The project has been granted $21.7 million in funding for its construction. Eden Housing is the project developer. Van Meter Williams Pollack is responsible for the designs. Financial partners include City of Newark and County of Alameda (Measure A1 Affordable Housing Fund).
Zoning permits have been filed to demolish five properties ahead of construction for the 28-story residential tower at 1974-1998 Shattuck Avenue in Downtown Berkeley, Alameda County. The addresses include 1950, 1974, 1984, 1998 Shattuck Avenue, and 2071 University Avenue. The property, extending along Shattuck from University Avenue to Berkeley Way, is set to become the tallest tower in Berkeley, rising 317 feet tall, higher than the UC Berkeley Campanile Tower. NX Ventures is the project developer.
New renderings have been revealed for a residential project proposed for development at 67-69 Belcher Street in the Castro district in San Francisco. The project proposal includes the addition of 36 new units to the city’s housing market. The proposal will replace a single dwelling unit. Durkin Inc is the property owner.
