The City of San Carlos has approved plans for 642 Quarry Road in San Carlos, San Mateo County. The application would be the second life sciences project by the project developer, Presidio Bay Ventures, including two office buildings and a garage. Presidio purchased the property in 2022 for $34 million.

The infill aims to create 110 apartments across from the UC Berkeley campus and close to the city’s busy Telegraph Avenue. Landmark Properties is the project developer.
The State of California has certified the environmental study for Oak Hill Apartments, an affordable housing proposal in San Quentin, Marin County. The decision gives the green light to pursue construction, avoiding the need for local approval from the notoriously anti-housing county staff.
