Permits have been filed to demolish a single-story commercial building at 2100 Mission Street in the Mission District, San Francisco. The submission is taking place just four months after the Toboni Group took control of a decades-old project for a six-story residential building at the address. The date of demolition has not been announced.
The SOM-designed One Steuart Street has reached its 220-foot pinnacle, looking over the Embarcadero. Located in the East Cut portion of SoMa, the new residential tower plans to offer unique listings for the ultra-wealthy who might otherwise look for single-family houses in the city’s outskirts. Now that construction has topped out, the project is fast approaching completion and occupancy.
San Francisco Public Works has presented three options for new trash cans in the city. The new receptacles are to be distributed across the city, replacing the over 3,000 existing green bins currently in use since 1993. The proposes feature sleek silver designs intending to improve the ever-developing urban streetscape. A decision has not yet been made.
Permits have been filed to build a 7-story mixed-use structure at 419 4th Street in the Jack London Square neighborhood of Oakland. The address sits between Broadway and Franklin Street. The site is within walking distance of downtown Oakland and is six blocks away from the Oakland Jack London Square. While renderings have not been released, we can confirm that Lowney Architectureis responsible for the design.
Permits have finally been filed for three twelve-story towers at 2200 Calle De Luna, in Tasman East, Santa Clara. This development is the first in a series of projects from the city’s Tasman East Specific Plan. City plans aim to transform 45 acres of a low-rise industrial neighborhood to be a high-density residential and office district with proximity to light rail and the Levi’s Stadium. Holland Partners Group is responsible for the development of 2200 Calle De Luna.
