A new proposal has been filed for a five-story single-family dwelling with an additional dwelling unit at 2915 Vallejo Street in Pacific Heights, San Francisco. The project would replace an existing three-story single-family residence and an un-permitted in-law unit with a five-story building with a basement garage. Dumican Mosey Architects is responsible for the design.
The Oakland Planning Commission has approved the 98th and San Leandro development proposal for a mixed-use district in Elmhurst Park, East Oakland. Located around 921 98th Avenue, construction would add over four hundred new dwelling units to the city’s housing market. Madison Park is the developer for the project.
Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a single-family residence at 16227 Maya Way, Los Gatos in Santa Clara County. The project proposal includes the construction of a two-story residence with a detached garage. The Planning Commission will review the modifications of the facade and previously approved interior designs. A special permit for the detached garage is filed. D-Scheme Studio is managing the design concepts and construction of the house.
Pre-application permits have been filed for a hotel-to-apartments conversion of Z-Hotel at 233 Broadway in Oakland’s waterfront Jack London District. The project would renovate the 105-guestroom hotel, with 24 more units to replace on-site parking. Baran Studio Architecture is responsible for the design.
Developers have announced that construction is expected to begin before the end of the year on The Carlysle, a 21-story mixed-use tower at 51 Notre Dame Avenue in Downtown San Jose. This announcement comes after demolition permits were filed in March. Led by Acquity Realty, the building would add new office space and hundreds of new dwelling units to the San Jose housing market.
