A new industrial project has been proposed for development at 800 Dolittle Drive in San Leandro. The project proposal includes the construction of a new warehouse with supporting office space. If approved, the project will require the demolition of existing warehouse buildings on the site and associated surface parking.
Construction has started for two affordable housing complexes rising on Transbay Block 2 in East Cut, San Francisco. While site work has been active since the start of this year, its official groundbreaking ceremony was held late last month. Once complete, the block will add 335 new apartments in the high-rise neighborhood by Rincon Hill.

The project will replace a portion of the Berkeley Adult School’s parking lot with over a hundred homes. Berkeley Unified School District is the property owner, while Abode Communities and Satellite Affordable Housing Associates will be joint developers.
Formal permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use infill at 1581 University Avenue in Berkeley, Alameda County. The latest application aims to bring 158 new units and retail just two blocks from the North Berkeley BART Station. Trachtenberg Architects is responsible for the application.
