The Draft Environmental Impact Report has been published for the 22-story affordable senior development at 19 North Second Street in Downtown San Jose, Santa Clara County The documents have been prepared by the City of San Jose for review by public agencies and individuals to provide comments. ROYGBIV Real Estate is the project developer.
Plans have been filed for a multi-family apartment complex at 1121 I Street in Downtown Sacramento. The eight-story mixed-use infill will span three-quarters of an acre with 204 apartments. The project applicant is not listed.
A new residential project has been proposed for development at 101 South Jackson Avenue in San Jose. The project proposal includes the construction of two-story townhomes and a conventional rezoning of the project site from single-family residence zoning to a mixed-use neighborhood zoning district. A single-story house and detached garage on the site were demolished. Habitat for Humanity is the project developer. Geoffrey Holton Associates is responsible for the design concepts.
Updated renderings have been published for the residential infill proposal at 67-69 Belcher Street in San Francisco’s Castro neighborhood. The plans call for 31 units with architecture by one of the city’s most prominent firms, Stanley Saitowitz | Natoma Architects. The new illustrations show an augmentation from the previous iterations, most notably with a perforated aluminum parapet. Along the exterior, the aluminum window frames are to be colored white to match the brick veneer instead of black. Finally, the base level will now include two exposed concrete pillars instead of one.
Demolition permits have been filed for five structures ahead of construction for 2929 Broadway on Pill Hill, Oakland. The 0.93-acre site will be replaced with a seven-story apartment complex to be named Ambrose. Martin Group is the project developer, with development permits approved just over a month ago.
