The proposal will replace low-density buildings with six stories of offices and over a hundred housing units. Windy Hill Property Ventures is responsible for the project.
Demolition permits have been filed to replace a two-story single-family home with a taller single-family home and an additional dwelling unit at 617 Sanchez Street in Dolores Heights, San Francisco. The project would replace a 1907-built home. Edmonds + Lee Architects is responsible for the design.
New plans have been filed for a multi-unit residential expansion at 1474 South van Ness Avenue in San Francisco’s Mission District. The project will make adaptive reuse of the single-family home and garage, with vertical expansions to create seven homes. RG-Architecture is responsible for the design.
Planning commissioners show largely positive views on the proposed mixed-use development at 477 9th Avenue in Downtown San Mateo, San Mateo County. The project would replace a single-story commercial structure currently on the outskirts of the denser urban area with five floors of housing, office space, and vehicular parking. The Martin Group is the project applicant.
A draft environment impact report (DEIR) was published for a new mixed-use complex at 460 24th Street in Northgate-Waverly in Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of a mixed-use complex offering office and retail spaces on two sites. Plans call for the demolition of an existing building along with partial demolition of four other existing structures. Some of the existing brick facades will be integrated into future retail. Signature Development Group (SDG) is responsible for the project. Flynn Architecture is responsible for the design, and the Guzzardo Partnership is the landscape architect.
